Contact forms on our website send information via plain text email. We will use the details you provide in order to contact you and to enable us to provide services related to the nature of your enquiry. Any information contained within emails received either through third-part sites or directly to us may be saved on digital devices, which are password protected, to enable us to contact you directly, your affiliates or those acting on your behalf, to enable us to deliver our services. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Some basic IP information and tracking of pages visited through Googles’ Analystics software provides us limited information on traffic to our site and specific property or services pages. We do not ask for any supplementary information but may have access to information you have shared with Google and which you have expressed consent to share.

Who we share your data with

Bengough Property follow strict processes as required under our membership with ICO and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations (2017). We therefore store specific data to adhere to such regulations and may share it with the Crime Prevention Agency (or other appropriate Government Department) where we suspect or detect illegal activity or processes that place an obligation on us to report such activity. We will not share your data with any other third party or company without seeking your express permission beforehand or unless you instruct us to do so.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

More broadly, any information received under Anti-Money Laundering Regulations or ‘enhanced due diligence’ process will be retained for up to 5 years. This could include information received via telephone, email, through questionnaires or third party verification platforms that you give permission to share information with us. More information about this can be obtained by contacting us at

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
